Natural Food School courses

The Natural Food School courses are for anyone who wants to learn how to feel healthier, more energetic and more alive simply by eating well.
The courses are held in the professionally equipped kitchen of Carol Lee’s 400-year-old cottage in a village near Crediton, Devon and in Carol Kenward’s ‘Natural Vitality’ kitchen near Bath. This makes for an informal atmosphere and naturally limits groups to a maximum of six on cooking courses and 10 on nutrition-only courses.

5 Element Nutrition Course for Kinesiologists
‘ Challenging, inspiring and exciting'
This is a 4 day course which blends together Natural Nutrition, the 5 elements and Kinesiology.
Are you :
looking to do an accredited course and are new to the power of nutrition wanting to refresh and add to your knowledge of nutrition from an inspirational and truly holistic perspective ready to debunk many of the myths about food and health and look 'outside the box' Then this is the course for you!
Overview :
Over the 4 days we will explore Natural Nutrition and how it dovetails with 5 element theory.
These fascinating and inspiring days are not so much about facts but more about the energy of food and nutrition and crucially how to integrate this information with kinesiology.
The days will lead to a deeper understanding of nutrition in your kinesiology sessions.
The course is supported by an in depth workbook which gives you the facts on nutrition, anatomy and physiology (relevant to nutrition) and staying healthy with the seasons.
Nutrition Certificate:
Upon completion of the 4 days and key elements of the workbook, the nutrition syllabus as recognized by the Kinesiology Federation of GB, will have been covered, and a nutrition certificate can be issued. This can go towards your KFRP status.
A minimum of a foundation in Kinesiology is required to participate in this course.

Seasonal Eating and Cooking
(one-day courses)

These are cook-and-eat days based around the five seasons (Spring, Summer, Late Summer, Autumn and Winter) in Chinese medicine.
You will explore the feeling and energy of the season and then use this knowledge to look at what you need nutritionally, what food is available to you, and simple but delicious cooking methods and recipes.

Eating for Health and Vitality
(one-day courses)

This fascinating course will introduce you to the facts and principles of healthy eating. It will empower you to take control of your health and well-being and show you how you can feel full of health and vitality.
Topics covered include:
• how some foods can harm us and others heal us
• how stress affects the body and our health
• how to make healthy choices and changes
• why diets don’t work
• facts about fats
And you will take home some recipe sheets so you can experiment at home.

Eating and Moving for Health and Vitality
(two-day courses)
This is a two part ‘life energizing’ course where we look at the facts and principles of healthy eating in combination with simple easy movement which bring health and vitality to body, mind and spirit.

Introduction to Nutritional Healing
(one-day courses
)
This course explores nutritional healing as a simple yet profound holistic therapy, and inspires participants on their journey towards good health and well-being.

During the day you will find out how to:
• Change your diet, feel great and reconnect to the natural cycles
• Transform and clear obstacles to change by adjusting your diet
• Make sense of your physical, emotional and spiritual health
• Make any therapies you give or receive more effective

Quick and Healthy Meals
(half day courses)

These are ‘cook and eat’ half day courses which will each have their own theme loosely linked to the seasons.
